Best time to visit : Mornings and Evenings Location : Near Kayamkulam Kayal; Perumpally beach junction (4 km away) Nearest Bus Terminal : Kayamkulam KSRTC bus station (11 km away; about 26 mins) Nearest Railway Station : Kayamkulam Railway Station (11 km away; about 26 mins) Catchy Sights : Blue-green waters Colourful fishing canoes Tsunami Memorial Rocks (See photos towards the end of this post) A Short Account of My Visit to Valiazheekal Beach, Kayamkulam Following a journey of about 4 km through a narrow road fenced on one side by coconut trees and huge boulders, invaded by tiny thickets of moss like grass, and on the other by the dark green Kollam-Kottapuram waterway, you reach the magnificient spot where shining black soil and blue green waters meet you, the Valiazheekal beach. I and my comrade took an early ride to this beach, sometime around 8 am.
